â€œTo exist you must resist.â€ That aphorism applies widely: everything from forming your identity (the ability to say â€œnoâ€) to the practice of democracy and to cultural survival itself. American Indians employed scores of resistance methods in their continual struggles against European and U.S. domination. Name and discuss three of the most significant forms of resistance that indigenous peoples of North America used in defense of themselves and their homelands. More specifically:
a) Discuss in detail one particular example of each form of resistance.
b) Then name the form of resistance that you believe was (is) most effective. Explain why.
